New milestone for the Prosit Project! For the preliminary stage of drought tolerance tests the plants are now at the LANDLAB, platform of a Vicenza-based company specialized in development of advanced solutions in agriculture. Here the University of Padua team is starting the first stages of testing. With the support of the technological instrumentation ofLANDLAB platform, expert researchers will periodically analyse the response of the plants, in order to acquire important physiological parameters at the level of photosynthesis and gas exchange that provide information on the state of their well-being. Once the optimal conditions for young vine grafts have been established, the actual drought tolerance experiment will be carried out.
