A new greenhouse experiment of the PROSIT Project has started. Vine plants, inoculated with consortia of endophytes, isolated and characterised by CNR and ENSA partners of the Project, are now at the LANDLAB (www.landlab.net) where they will be subjected to water stress conditions. The aim is to measure the response of inoculated plants to drought and thus the impact of endophytes on the plants themselves.
The experiment makes use of the technologies of LandLab, a platform at the forefront of the development of advanced solutions in agriculture. The team from the University of Padua, leader of the Prosit Project, will follow all phases of the experiment, which is expected to be completed next July. The data, collected and analysed by the researchers, will be used for further epigenetic and metabolomics analyses developed later by the partners from Germany and France.
